Eventually got to the studio around 1.30 p.m.  Messed around preparing some grounds to experiment with various media for ideas I had. I am finding it difficult to get a consistent solid colour on support.  I will try applying media with a roller next time round.  Working on small sketches in multiples on different grounds, i.e. hardboard, canvas, paper.  Not enough time to develop ideas but ended up with some sketches for workbook.  Rather disappointing day creatively - c'est la vie.  Will continue next painting day.
Any tips on application of paint to get a consistent solid colour on support would be helpful.
