Whilst researching my current area of investigation came across this lecture by David Joselit.  This is a must watch for anyone interested in finding out about Marcel Duchamps 'marketing' skills and how one object "The Fountain" is repeated time and time again and is always different.  This is a very simplistic explanation, just watch to find out more.
